Schmalz FXP-SVK-442-3R18-O10O10 Vacuum Area Gripping System

The Schmalz FXP-SVK-442-3R18-O10O10 is a vacuum area gripping system with a sound level of 74 dB(A) and maximum degree of evacuation of 55%. This vacuum area gripping system guarantees maximum flexibility during automated handling processes and makes automated palletizing, depalletizing, order picking and sorting of varied goods possible with one gripper. It can handle workpieces made from various materials including carton, wood, metal sheets (dry) and plastic, both with and without cut-outs.

The system features an aluminum basic profile with side T-slots for sensors and integrated air supply for separation, vacuum booster for quicker evacuation, valve film for quick change of valve type and size, and end cover with integrated functions including connection for compressed air and vacuum gauges. Type FXP requires compressed air hose 12/9 mm.

This universal gripper handles workpieces made from wood (coated or rough sawn), packaging (boxes, bags or cans), metal sheets, glass, plastics, CFRP, and can handle porous workpieces, workpieces with gaps or undefined pick-up positions, with mark-free handling of sensitive workpieces. Permissible dimensional tolerances for elastomer parts are according to DIN ISO 3302-1 M3.
